Community awareness as one of the primary goals that AWAFY Sudanese Organization working to achieve, and we believe in the role of young people and their active participation in voluntary and humanitarian work and their great role in building and serving the community, Based on this principle, the AWAFY Sudanese Organization held in 9/10/2021 a workshop on voluntary and humanitarian work in the city of Zalingei.
The workshop targeted 28 participants from various youth groups and from different neighbourhoods of the city and camps for the displaced. The workshop was presented by Ms. Jamila Ali, a humanitarian expert responsible for managing organizations With the Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid in Central Darfur, through which the participants learned about the principles of voluntary and humanitarian work and the obstacles it faces. The workshop also addressed the humanitarian work sectors and the importance of coordination, communication and humanitarian funding.
